Zihad Ayub is the coordinator (For Europe) Scholars Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is the CEO and Founder of Africa2b.com which is an exclusive marketplace that connects companies and consumers, where they can have access to and share information. He was born in Mozambique but lived in South Africa during the 80s and 90s before moving to Portugal to finish his studies.

In 2004 he went to Angola to work in a company in the sector of Agriculture and Energy providing Products and Services. He started as a financial controller, and after 3 years, he moved to Director of Operation and later to Managing Director. In 2009, he joined another business division in a company that was more focused on business development and trading. It was during this year that the idea of creating Africa2b.com was hatched because of his passion which was centred on how to find companies in Africa as well as how to avoid being defrauded while seeking to do business in Africa. It was also his passion to sensitize organizations on how much they are losing by not being online.

The question then was what to do in order to save time and money by using Technology. In 2019 Africa2b.com was launched as MVP to test the concept, having conducted several interviews on various aspects of business-related matters, and in June 2020, Africa2b.com was relaunched. Africa2b.com is on a Mission of connecting African businesses to the world via Technology and make business and people’s lives easy.
